Jeb Sharp

Jeb Sharp is an award-winning audio journalist with deep experience in public media as well as podcasting. She has been a reporter, producer, editor, and news manager. She began her career as a reporter and news director at KCAW in Sitka, Alaska and later worked at WBUR and at WGBH’s global affairs show The World which became her professional home for 20 years. Jeb has twice won the prestigious Lowell Thomas Award from the Overseas Press Club of America for best radio, audio, or podcast coverage of international affairs. Other honors include the Dart Award for Excellence in Coverage of Trauma and a Nieman Fellowship from Harvard. She began teaching audio journalism at Northeastern in 2018 and continues to work as an editor and consultant in both public media and podcasting.
