Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are critical components of our efforts to push the boundaries of creativity, communication and innovation. As makers, innovators and entrepreneurs, we are collectively responsible for upholding and prioritizing these pillars through our individual work and collaborative partnerships.
Gender Identities + Preferred Names
We encourage all CAMD faculty, staff, and students to utilize all the resources available to ensure that their authentic selves are reflected in all aspects of the university and the college.
Name and gender marker
If you are transgender and/or a gender non-conforming student at Northeastern and wish to have your name or gender marker changed without having legally done so, you can do so through the LGBTQA Resource Center.
Chosen name policy
Northeastern University is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming living, learning and working environment that is free of discrimination. The university recognizes that, for a variety of reasons, students or employees may want to use a name to identify themselves that is different from their legal name.
