Skye Morét | Infomation Design Visualization

“Skye Morét believes in the power of visualization and meaningful engagement in bridging the gap between two traditionally polar disciplines: design and science.” (

Skye lives in Portland, Oregon and is a Design Strategist and Data Visualizer at Periscopic. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Collaborative Design + Design Systems MFA/MA program at the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

Danielle Morimoto | Graphic Design

On the Emerging Design team they take on big, ambiguous questions around what’s next. Danielle always exploring and learning a variety of new topics and problems (which she loves). She comes up with innovative solutions, products and vision strategies and tells compelling stories to make those a reality.

Mahima Pushkarna | Infomation Design Visualization

Mahima tend to wear many hats – UI/UX, visual design, strategy and design research – to create better human-ai partnerships, such as helping doctors diagnose cancer using AI. The products and processes that she has designed, such as the What-If Tool and Facets, have been widely used to advance better practices in machine learning by companies like Google, Disney and GoPro, as well as in academia by MIT. As a part of Google’s People + AI Research Initiative, she studies the impact of AI on design.

Prior to Google, Mahima worked as a product designer at Innovation by Design, a global think-tank, MIT’s Design Lab,  and designed self-evolving visualization tools at Ion Interactive, a SaSS platform for content marketers.

Steven Olimpio | Graphic Design

Steven joined us as an Art Director back in October with a specialist in Design, though his interdisciplinary background has him working across both traditional and non-traditional means: typography, illustration, visual and brand identity, strategy, writing, coding, and animation.

Steve previously was in a Los Angeles office of Toronto design studio, Bruce Mau where he worked across the Sonos re-positioning; Adidas (LA FC, specifically); the LA 2024 Bid; and architectural firm, Sasaki. He’s an avid cycler (from Silver Lake to our Culver City office every day), has an overall focus on wellness (regardless of his dumpster-diving college-past), and he’s the tallest in the office (he did grow up on a Christmas tree farm). Height and his sordid college days aside, he fits into the family perfectly.
