This conversation explores the connection between data visualization and artificial intelligence. With the recent advancements of AI and the increasing popularity of data visualization, it is natural to ask, “Where does data visualization fit in an AI-driven world?” In this hybrid panel we will explore how data visualization can provide solutions for AI and how AI can help us create better and more advanced visualization solutions.
Enrico Bertini will moderate the panel. The participating panelists include; Melanie Tory (The Roux Institute, Northeastern University), Hendrik Strobelt (IBM Research AI), Michael Correll (The Roux Institute, Northeastern University), Mennatallah El-Assady (ETH AI Center), Marc Streit (Johannes Kepler University Linz), and Paolo Ciuccarelli (Art + Design, Northeastern University).
