David Dawson II is currently working on projects that seek to understand how working with AI can enhance administrative workflows for professional and academic work. He created a modular Dissertation Management System that supports the development of an administrative research workflow that connects structured citation management with researcher insights and positions Claude as a strategic consultant in the development of research ideas.
Professionally, his work has accelerated the ability to iterate ideas, identify ways to consolidate and manage data, and increase knowledge and skills that support program management. This includes the development of program information dashboards, student development plans, and rapid prototyping of approaches to solve persistent administrative challenges. David’s views working with AI models as an enhancement, not replacement, for the creativity, ingenuity, and performance of human-centered work.
