The catalyst, photography, sparked the belief that my career must follow a creative path, a path that should distance myself from Mechanical Engineering. The second, graphic design, was my entry point into the entire design field. It began with marketing materials such as posters, magazine spreads, and social media posts. But, after years of experience I am now a freelance website and brand designer as seen in my second project: the Fan Pier Labs Visual Identity.

City of Boston’s Homebuyer Guide

The final stage, design research, is where I place my focus today. This Process Book represents a year of work with the Boston Home Center and Office of Housing Innovation. I led a student team to research and build the City of Boston’s Homebuyer Guide: two webpages on boston.gov that help first-time homebuyers navigate the complex financial and interpersonal systems of real estate. After graduation, I hope to continue delivering tools and services that help citizens in need.
