Acropolis
2025
acrylic on canvas
18″ x 24″
This piece is based on a photograph I took of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. I chose to create this painting not just because I love the photograph, but because it brings me back to that place in time when I took it, allowing me to reminisce about the experiences I had and the people I met while in Greece.
The Sexual Politics of Eating Meat Visualized
2026
collage, acrylic paint, charcoal
For my philosophy class, the Ethics of Food, I was required to read “The Sexual Politics of Meat” by Carol Adams. Adams’ piece inspired me to create my own piece, which aims to visualize how the ways in which we interact with food is inherently gendered.
Untitled
2026
sculpture using Vitamin D pills, medicine bottles, and hot glue
This project was created for my Drawing in Mixed Methods class, with the prompt focus being the concept of mapping using unconventional drawing materials. I chose to map my daily routine of taking my medication and my vitamins by using my prescription medication bottles and vitamin D pills as my main mediums. I love this piece because each person that interacts with it can ascribe their own meanings of and experiences with medication (positive or negative) to it: allowing its meaning and value to constantly change.
