Precious Objects

CNC-milled Baltic birch plywood
18″ x 22″ x 28″

Precious Objects is a furniture design system exploring the role of replicability and preciousness with basic plywood construction. The idea began with plywood offcuts and the desire to have a materially efficient, near- finished product come directly off the CNC mill. By developing a system of precision-milled friction-fit joints, Precious Objects can iterate quickly to deconstruct and fragment a basic chair form.
