The brief: design a body font.

Marmite Sans is a modern sans serif typeface designed in Fall 2019 under the guidance of John Kane. It is inspired by the comparison of classic and modern grotesques such as Akzidenz to Aperçu. It is characterized by sharp terminals and slightly square curves, taken from the shape of a Marmite jar. It was designed using Adobe Illustrator and Glyphs.
