For the upcoming exhibition, Megacities Asia, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston approached us to develop diagrams that compare the five mega-cities Mumbai, Delhi, Shanghai, Beijing, and Seoul through the lens of data. Using diverse data sources ranging from the UN, Worldbank, OSCD, and different national statistical agencies, graduate students Andrew Tang, Ryan Morrill, and Navarjun Grewal developed a visual concept for information displays that allow comparing the cities across multiple dimensions.
