Work Showcases

This project concerns the analysis of mental health discourse on TikTok within marginalized populations, with an emphasis on autistic and neurodivergent individuals. We are studying how discussions of diagnosis (e.g., of autism) and dual diagnoses (e.g., autism and eating disorders) emerge on #autisktok (i.e., autistic TikTok) as a culturally and socially innovative counter to clinically focused discussions and debates.
