Visualization Technologies
The Crunchbase data set provides information on major venture capital investments since 2007. In this course, students were asked to visualize this network of relations by building an interactive application for the web. They used p5.js, and used several physics-inspired techniques implemented from scratch. The projects showed here are a short selection of the projects developed in class.

The Correlates of War Project (http://www.correlatesofwar.org) provides data of militarized conflicts throughout the last 200 years. In this design studio, students were asked to build an interactive vsualization to answer questions such as:
- Which countries were at war and when?
- What individual conflicts constituted such war?
- How many casualties resulted from such events?
