Integrate visual effects with live-action

This space is optimized for creating visual effects, allowing for seamless integration of virtual backgrounds and environments. It’s particularly well-suited for projects requiring chroma key compositing, such as film and video production, as well as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences.

The studio has a high-performance PC configured for virtual production using Unreal Engine. This setup allows for real-time rendering and interactive content creation, enabling filmmakers and content creators to visualize scenes in a wholly digital environment. The integration of Unreal Engine supports complex visual effects, dynamic lighting, and live-action elements, providing a robust platform for innovative storytelling.

Our production studios are cutting-edge facilities that cater to various multimedia projects, from traditional television production, photography, music production, and podcasting to supporting immersive media disciplines and virtual production.

The labs are supported by a dedicated team, including full-time staff, student staff, and a co-op student, who can assist, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance on using the equipment and software. This ensures that users have the support they need to maximize the potential of our lab spaces and produce top-tier content.
