Part-time instructor Aleszu Bajak, science journalist, spoke on a panel August 9 at CUNY Journalism School on how to get into data journalism. The event , “Career Panel on How to Learn Data Journalism Skills,” was organized by Science Writers in New York. Batak was joined by fellow panelists Olga Pierce, deputy data editor at Pro Publica; Martin Burch, data journalist at The Wall Street Journal; and Jue Yang, a technologist-in-residence at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.

Bajak is the editor of Storybench and teaches in the graduate Media Innovation program.
