The Distinguished Service Faculty Award will be granted to a faculty member whose contributions to the Department, College and University create notable benefits to the systems, situations and shared environments of the academic community. Recipients of this award will have consistently taken on significant service activities, contributing for example to initiatives and committees throughout the university; helping to build programs and manage resources in support of community missions; and collaborating with colleagues in ways that set standards for faculty participation.

Faculty who are nominated will be notified and asked to submit the following via single PDF document to Matthew McDonald, CAMD’s Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Faculty and Research, by Friday, March 12, 2021:

  • Statement of significant contributions to the Department, College, University, and/or Discipline

  • The CV of nominee which should include a complete list of service activities
  • Chair letter of evaluation

The award winner will be notified around April 9, 2021, and will be honored at the CAMD Graduation Ceremony.
