Jon Hichborn, Lecturer in Music Industry, was profiled in an article entitled “Hichborn: The ‘CSI of the Music Business,” which was published on January 4, 2016 in seacoastonline.com

The article describes how Hichborn’s business, Records on the Wall, plays a unique role in the music industry.

Hichborn and his business partner and wife, Lisa Hichborn, work seven days a week on being advocates for artists, music publishers, and songwriters. Records on the Wall looks at royalty statements to see if there are any errors. If they discover one, they contact the client and move forward with getting the money that is owed.
