The New York Times recently published an article about online-retailer Amazon’s intense working conditions. In a new opinion piece, also published by The New York Times, School of Journalism part-time lecturer Bill Mitchell was asked to give his thoughts on whether or not the article covered both sides of the story fairly.

“Two aspects impressed him: the named sources and the contribution made by the thousands of comments. He also praised the story’s ‘tough but evenhanded tone,’ and noted that ‘unlike a lot of investigative pieces, this does not read like a prosecutor’s brief.’”
