CAMD faculty William Lancaster and Communication Studies student Emma Gammons organized a shoot for an entry for the Marathon Cup Challenge ad campaign, filmed in Lancaster’s “Producing for the Entertainment Industry” class. This video was one of many filmed by Northeastern students on-campus, for the #MarathonCupChallenge.

Gammons, currently on co-op doing PR for New Balance, describes the Marathon Cup Challenge video concept as “getting someone in running gear to run up and chug a small cup of water and crush it on the ground, much like you would see someone do in a race” in a normal (in this case classroom) setting. The goal of the campaign, she explained, is to “generate buzz” for the NYC Marathon. New Balance hopes to encourage people to share their own entries for the challenge on social media.
