Join us on May 3, 2021 (4:30 pm) for the opening of the 2021 MFA Thesis Exhibition.

Good design is invisible; only bad design sticks out. However, this common belief ignores that also designers can be blind to many issues, including their own assumptions. In particular, the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic has revealed many blind spots that had previously often gone unnoticed. Its disruptions have realigned our perspective on design to focus on the individual experience and the importance of care. This exhibition of thesis projects from the graduate programs in Experience Design and Information Design and Data Visualization explores the many different aspects of what goes unseen and is often overlooked.
