Bennett earned a bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design. While at Northeastern, she worked as a designer for The Huntington News. For her co-op, she worked with the Boston Beer Company to create custom signage. That co-op led to a full-time role with the Boston Beer Company as a creative artist.

Bennett was one of the three students who, for their senior capstone, created the developmental handbook Made to Play. The book dives into the challenges of monitoring childhood development, especially if parents don’t have access or resources to developmental screening. Their book breaks down developmental milestones from 0-36 months and offers DIY solutions. The capstone earned an honorable mention in the 2023 Fast Company Changing Ideas Awards.
