Ashley Knehans earned a BFA in Media Arts with a minor in animation. During her time at CAMD, she completed an internship and co-op at Zero FX as a Junior 3D Generalist, focusing on CGI and VFX.
It was through her connection with Art + Design professor, David Pietricola, that she was able to learn more about Zero FX — and ultimately join their ranks for her internship and co-op.
While at Zero FX, she worked on projects like Netflix’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Ashley also put her expertise within CAMD. She added visual special effects to the recorded production of the Theatre Department’s She Kills Monsters. She also animated two of the murals on campus to bring them to life for the Class of 2021.
