Ashley is an experience and information designer with 10+ years of professional experience. She has a BFA in graphic design from the Lesley College of Design, and an MFA in Information Design and Data Visualization from Northeastern University. In 2015, she co-founded and led design at JustFix, a technology nonprofit that builds free tools for tenants to exercise their rights to a livable home, where she still serves on the Board of Directors. She continued her work in the civic tech space at Skylight, a digital consultancy using design, technology, and procurement to help agencies deliver better public services, where she worked with the Health and Human Services Department, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, and the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. Ashley has also taught at RISD, Parsons School of Design at the New School, Pratt Institute, and General Assembly.
Ashley is also a freelance designer and consultant for various social impact technology companies. She is also a mentor at Social Enterprise Greenhouse in Providence, and just became a Master Gardener in Rhode Island!
