Brooke DiGiovanni Evans

Brooke DiGiovanni Evans has been working in cultural institutions for over 20 years at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Harvard Art Museums, Harvard Museum of Natural History, Plimoth Plantation, Boston Museum of Science, and the Peabody Essex Museum. She has focused on museum education, curatorial work, program evaluation, and exhibition development. Brooke has participated in numerous cross-departmental projects including strategic planning, DEAI initiatives, brand development, and audience research.

Recently she served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Museum Education Roundtable, a national organization which produces the quarterly Journal of Museum Education. Currently she serves on the Board for the New England Museum Association. In addition, she’s been part of the theater community as the Director of Development for Theatre on Fire for ten years. Brooke has guest edited two issues and authored articles for the Journal of Museum Education. She is also the author of the children’s book “Are You an Art Sleuth?” published in five languages. In 2017, she was awarded an Excellence Award for her work in the museum field by the New England Museum Association. In addition to Northeastern, she teaches at Boston University.  Brooke holds a BA in Art History from Boston University, an Ed.M. from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, and a graduate certificate in Non-Profit Leadership from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
