Dr. Carey Noland is an award winning author and professor with over twenty years of experience teaching and researching, specializing in the areas of organizational, interpersonal, and health communication. She has taught thousands of students and authored two books and produced over forty-five professional papers and publications on communication related topics. Dr. Noland has traveled the world, literally, from Southeast Asia to Latin America, teaching and studying communication during her career.
Dr. Noland joined Northeastern University in 2002. She completed her undergraduate studies in economics and statistics from Boston University, her graduate work includes a Master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas, Austin and a PhD in communication studies from Ohio University. She is currently an Associate Professor of Communication at Northeastern University.
