Deb Sullivan

Lighting Designer for Sävë thë Whälës, etc.

Deb is a Boston-based lighting designer with off-broadway, regional, local, touring and educational credits. Recent designs include: ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ at BOCO@Berlee, ‘Urinetown’ with Lyric Stage, ‘ArrowFest’ @Arrow Street Arts featuring Liars and Believers’ ‘Don’t Open This,’ ‘The Islanders,’ a world premier by Carey Crimm at Shakespeare and Company and Romeo and Juliet with Actors’ Shakespeare Project.

Deb has also created work with Actors’ Theatre of Louisville with over a dozen world premieres (Humana Festival), Alliance Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Brandeis University, Concord Academy, Dorset Playhouse, Everett Dance, Huntington Theatre Company (IRNE nom): Ryan Landry’s ‘M,’ Gloucester Stage Company, Greater Boston Stage, Meridian Academy, Moonbox Productions, New Repertory Theatre (Norton win): The Clean House, Providence Festival Ballet (many crackers) The Public Theater/NYSF, Trinity Repertory Company (many carols), Womens’ Project Theatre, The Curley K8/BPS and many more.

Ms. Sullivan is the parent of a teenager, a member of IATSE United Scenic Artists Local 829, and the resident lighting designer of a radio station-wbur CitySpace.
