Frank Woodworth

Frank Woodworth is a creative media executive, analyst, advisor, and professor. His consultancy, Glacial Concepts, builds strategy and marketing initiatives for early stage start-ups, artists and labels across music, augmented reality, art, streaming and live events.

Previously, Woodworth served as GM of the independent record labels, Eleven Seven Music and Strange Loop Music, working with artists including Motley Crue, Jet, Radkey, Blondie, and She Wants Revenge. Prior to that he worked in the A&R department of Universal Music on albums from artists including Jack Johnson, Godsmack, and Chamillionaire. He began his career in music publicity for George Clinton and other touring artists.

He is the creator behind the first completely mobile-ticketed concert, a Billboard 30 under 30 recipient, and the author of multiple published white papers on music industry innovation including “Spotiwhy?: Are Subscription Music Services a Sustainable Business Model?” and “How the Music Industry Can Incorporate Tik Tok into their Marketing Strategies.”
