Julia Hechtman

Julia Hechtman is a multi media artist who makes work about the human experience of the natural world. She is included in the Video Data Bank collection, was a Fulbright Scholar in Iceland, and an American Scandinavian Foundation grantee, also to Iceland. She travels extensively for her projects which focus on more remote environments. In Winter of 2027 she will be in New Zealand conducting her research at University of Auckland.
