Katie Bruner is a teacher and researcher whose work focuses on the historic and contemporary relationships between communication and technology. Her areas of expertise are rhetorical studies, media studies, and science/technology studies. She has worked as a writer and editor for humanities and STEM professionals and enjoys working across disciplinary boundaries. She is currently a postdoctoral teaching associate in the Department of Communication Studies at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and is completing a book manuscript on early media research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
