Dr. Matthew Pitchford’s research focuses on digital rhetorics and in questions of assemblage, affect, network, and circulation in digital and social media contexts. His current work uses computational methods to identify and rhetorically examine how users on Twitter users respond to, make sense of, and articulate political identities in the wake of terrorist events.
