Min Ge is a Ph.D. student in Interdisciplinary Design and Media at Northeastern University, advised by Professor Chenyan Jia. Trained in communication, she studies computational communication and human-AI interaction, with a focus on how digital media and AI systems are designed, experienced, and evaluated in social contexts.
Her work draws on social science theories and uses computational and experimental approaches to study communication, technology, and society. Her research interests include social media, AI-mediated communication, political communication, digital well-being, and the design and evaluation of AI systems in social contexts.
Before starting her Ph.D., Min gained research and industry experience in public opinion research, user experience research, and platform-related work. These experiences shaped her interest in studying digital media systems and their social impacts.
