Paul Cattaneo

Paul is a registered architect in Massachusetts who practices at a wide range of scales. His current work is focused on public space, urban housing, and innovation in design technology. Within these realms he is passionate about fostering collaborative discourse on representation, history, and theory of design in the practice environment.

As a project designer and associate at Perkins&Will, he works with a variety of teams including healthcare, commercial, civic, urban design, and science and technology. He also works with a team of colleagues to organize a lecture series at Perkins&Will to discuss interdisciplinary work and practice. He previously worked as a designer at Kyu Sung Woo Architects and Howeler+Yoon in Boston and GRAFT and NAU Coop in Berlin, where he focused on urban design, housing, and experience design internationally.

He earned a Master of Architecture with distinction from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture with honors from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. He has been a juror at universities across the Northeast and has taught a studio at the GSD Career Discovery program as well as design animation workshops at the GSD.
