Mobi-lyze: Data Display for the Tandem Mobi Insulin Pump

Mobi-lyze is a sonification application for historical insulin pump data designed to complement existing visual data review workflows in quarterly endocrinology consultations for patients with Type 1 diabetes (T1D). Developed through CAMD’s Sonification Lab, the system maps continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and insulin pump data to structured sonic representations, offering an alternative modality for engaging with insulin pump datasets. Preliminary design findings suggest that the system may highlight particular conditions—such as unlogged food consumption—that are underrepresented in existing online tools.
