Makerspaces

The CAMD Makerspaces are an interdisciplinary fabrication ecosystem. They support design, architecture, art, technology and craft.

The Makerspaces emphasizes meaning through making. The multiple tailored spaces provide access to prototypical hand tools, woodworking instruments, laser-cutting and engraving machines, CNC routing capabilities, additive manufacturing solutions, 3D scanning, textile and fibers machines, and electronics research.

Ryder Hall Makerspace

The Ryder Makerspace serves as a hub for creative, collaborative and inclusive fabrication. Outfitted with professional, industry-standard equipment for woodworking, additive manufacturing, 3D printing, and laser cutting, we encourage the exploration of materials and processes as they relate to the design and innovation process.
