The Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE) devoted an entire session at the 2015 ATHE conference in Montreal to Professor Nancy Kindelan‘s book “Artistic Literacy: Theatre Studies and a Contemporary Liberal Education.” The roundtable style discussion applied the principles in Nancy’s “Artistic Literacy” to teaching, critiquing, and inspiring work using the aesthetic legacies we remember/have received.

She also led her own discussion at the conference titled “Dramaturgy and Cross-Curricular Relationships,” which considered dramaturgy as a subject of study and as a tool for considering pedagogical methodology in theatre studies, as well as across university curriculum.
