We’re excited to announce that CfA core faculty member Ilya Vidrin has received the Educating Character Initiative Grant!

The award will support Ilya’s research on embodied ethics involving an experiential learning approach he’s been developing called “Somatic Partnering,” which explores the body as a site of moral learning to cultivate moral imagination.

This work draws on the aspirational agenda of somatic education, moving beyond knowledge about care to the experience of caring as a transformation of the whole person.
