The Boston Globe‘s reporter Don Aucoin made a “wish list for Boston Theatre in 2017,” and cited Theatre chair Scott Edmiston’s upcoming production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? as a positive sign of things to come. The playwright, Edward Albee, was one of many celebrated artists to die in 2016, and this production is a welcome opportunity to revisit this master work in the new year. The Lyric Stage Company production runs January 13-February 12. Read Aucoin’s complete wish list here.
