Scott Shurtleff, a journalism graduate student, recently hired as a correspondent for The Lowell Sun, has had multiple articles published in the paper and online. Among his most recent are “A visual experience provided by aspiring artists of nation’s Boys & Girls Clubs.” and “State holds hearing in Wilmington on Volkswagen settlement.”

His first piece, “Girls Inc. celebrates 100 years of forging ‘strong, smart and bold’ future leaders,” ran January 21.

Shurtleff is a Master’s student in the professional track.
