Associate Professor of Communication Studies Alan Zaremba’s new book Sports Ethics: Challenges for Athletes and Management was published by Kendall Hunt.

Publishing house Kendall Hunt Publishing Company writes, “Sports Ethics: Challenges for Athletes and Management” is designed to combine theory and practical application, featuring over sixty case exercises created to spark class discussions. These cases, found in each chapter, challenge readers to determine what is ethical and unethical in sports settings. This publication supports a flexible teaching approach, allowing instructors to focus on either the principles and theories of sports ethics or a more discussion-based format. Included is a comprehensive instructor’s manual, PowerPoints, case studies, exercises, and more to generate class discussions and enhance students’ learning.”

Dr. Alan Zaremba has received four awards for “Excellence in Teaching.” He has twice been recognized with Northeastern University’s award and before coming to Northeastern was a recipient of the State University of New York’s Chancellor’s Award for ‘Excellence in Teaching’. In 2001 he was one of two University of Albany alums to be honored with an ‘Excellence in Education’ award.
