Dennis Staroselsky

Dennis Staroselsky is an award winning Actor, Writer and Producer who has appeared in the feature films, Detroit (Directed by Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow), American Woman , Love, Wedings and Other Disasters, and About Fate among others. His TV credits include recurring roles on Julia, The Loudest Voice in the Room, The Deuce, Madame Secretary and guest stars on Nurse Jackie, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Castlerock, Law & Order and Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans among others. Most recently the short film What It’s Like To Be Okay  a in which he starred, wrote and produced, won Best US Short at the Waco Independent Film Festival (Moviemaker Magazine Top 50) and has  screened in film festivals all over the country. Theater credits include the world premiere of An Early History of Fire, at  The New Group NYC , as well as appearances at regional theatres such as the A.R.T. The Huntington Theatre Co., Geva Theatre Center, and the Dallas Theater Center. As a playwright, his full length play Just About Cured was produced by the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. Mr. Staroselsky holds a BFA in acting  from Boston University and an MA in theater education from NYU. He’s currently an Assistant Teaching Professor at Northeastern University.
