This fall, our students studying in Berlin took a week-long trip to Copenhagen. In preparation for the trip, the students assembled a reader to provide background on what they would be seeing. Their main focus was urban sustainability, housing, and Nordic modernism and they gave presentations on site. They even had the opportunity to visit Superkilen Park, which was designed by German firm TOPOTEK1. The School of Architecture hosted Martin Rein-Cano as part of our lecture series in 2015 so this was a great opportunity for these students to see the firm’s work in person.
