On Saturday, December 3 from 7:00-10:00, directing students in the Department of Theatre will present an evening of ten minute plays featuring nearly 50 student performers.  Entitled Dancing with Ghosts and Other Acts of Love and Absurdity, the 15 student-directed plays explore themes of desire, memory, mortality, and modern love in styles ranging from romantic comedy to Theatre of the Absurd. Performances run each hour between 7:00-10:00 in the Ryder Theatre Lab with five plays presented every hour. There will be intermissions at 7:50 and 8:50.  It is free and open to the public, and audience members are free to attend all or part of the evening.

Dancing with Ghosts showcases the work of 15 student directors: Evelyne Cardella, Krishn Chopra, Monica Cole, Barbara Edmonds, Eva Friedman, Pablo Basulto, Liam Hofmeister, Lauren Holappa, Anna Jekel, Hanne Larsen, Lily Meyer, My Nguyen, Connor O’Brien, Dario Sanchez, and Bella Tasha.
